Some people may remember Taito's 1984 classic, The Legend of Kage. A ninja fest in the arcades, you took the role of Kage/Iga Ninja (Japanese for Shadow, pronounced kah-gé), and ran around like a crazed lunatic, slicing and dicing ninjas, all for a pretty princess.

It's just over two decades now since Taito released their arcade game, and thoroughly deserved a remake. And this is precisely what darthlupi has done. Kage returns in the form Legend of Shadow. You assume the role of our hero warrior out to rescue the princess once again, and defeat the evil bosses who stand in your way. Ninjas a many will come along and try to thwart your plans, but you are armed with a deadly sword and shurikens. You must not let anything get in your path.

The game was created specially for the Retro Remakes Competition of 2004. And at the end of the competition, it won. First place. Programming & Main Graphics
