A long time ago, Darthlupi and I started working on a game called Velella. Although Avaus is close to completion, I recently shifted my focus back to Velella. As Darthlupi mentioned in a recent interview, we'd like to get Velella finished soon. I won't say how soon because my time estimates always seem to end up grossly inaccurate.

Oh my God yes. I remember playing this demo a long time ago and I always wished you guys would come back to it. So much fun potential.
And that interview with Lupi is quite entertaining. A nice change from the average indie-dev interview, I think.

Holy, I thought this ended up being vaporware. I'm so glad to see it's return to the spotlight. Please keep us informed on both of these projects.
